ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for highly motivated candidates to apply to join our Travel department in an entry-level position as Travel Coordinator. The candidate must be able to provide premium service to our member community of high-net-worth families and individuals. The Travel Coordinator will work with the entire Travel department to ensure itineraries are planned and executed perfectly. This employee will report to the Director of Travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consult with members on travel-related requests and full itinerary planning
Stay current on new travel industry trends
Network within the travel industry
Reconfirm all aspects of trip itineraries, no matter how big or small
Attend conferences (as scheduled by the Director of Travel)
Create destination guides and itineraries
Assist with logistical requests separate from trip itineraries
Propose creative solutions for last-minute problems or questions
Obtain information and pertinent travel details from members and/or their assistants, as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Interest in travel planning and the travel industry
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Willingness to learn
SALARY RANGE + BENEFITS
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
After 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for:
Company-paid medical and dental benefits
Company-matched 401(k), up to 6% of salary matched by Four Hundred
Paid time off (per year):
12 vacation days
9 bank holidays
6 sick days
$75 per month stipend towards phone bill coverage
After first year of employment, employees are eligible for:
Annual incentive bonus, 3% of annual base salary
